The Cultural Center, which was built by Village Institute Teachers in the 1940s, was used for educational purposes until 1999. In 2009, it was restored while preserving its historical structure, and the building has gained importance for the social life of the district. The Ayhan Sümer Cultural Center houses a theater stage, a foyer hall, the İpek İğne Oyaları (Silk Needle Lace) Museum, and the Ayhan Sümer Museum.
